About CDLi
The Coaching Digital Learning Institute, is the 8th year annual offering of professional development specifically designed for k-12 digital coaches and educators by NC State’s Friday Institute for Educational Innovation. This event is designed to support K-12 instructional coaches and those taking the lead in implementing digital transitions in their schools and districts. CDLi builds capacity and enhances professional development, practice, and adds mobile and web based tools to expand digital learning and teaching environments. This professional capacity building is for Instructional technology facilitators, media coordinators, instructional specialists, and technology-driven educators and mentoring staff.

We aren’t talking about sleight of hand, fooling people with props, or pretending to saw your students in half - we’re talking about providing and supporting magical experiences to ALL stakeholders in North Carolina schools undergoing digital transitions.

The Friday Institute for Educational Innovation is located on North Carolina State University’s Centennial Campus. This 33,000-square-foot multidisciplinary research and educational outreach institute is among the most technically advanced facilities at NC State University. The Institute contains spaces designed for conducting research, teaching both face-to-face and online, developing multi-media educational resources, working collaboratively, and convening meetings and running conferences related to our mission, all supported by sophisticated technologies.
